The blogging community is filled with kind, generous, creative and wonderful people.
I can travel the world in a few minutes and learn new things daily hopping from blog to blog.
Here are a few places I like to visit.
Neil's daily posts make me smile and remind me of what's truly important.
Alisa is a generous and gifted artist. She regularly lets you take a peek inside her sketchbook where she takes note of the things that inspire her. She also shares her recipes, craft and clothing projects and posts some of the most calming and inspiring photos I've ever seen.
Rachel Awes is one of the very first blog friends I made. She is a Psychologist by profession along with being a wife and mother by choice. Once a week, she creates a piece of art based on something she has heard either within herself or from someone beautiful in her world. Usually, these words appear in her art as well. I like to meditate on what she expresses each week to find what meaning it may have for me. Her art is so bright and beautiful, so colourful and creative. It makes me so so so happy to witness it each week.
Claire in San Fran is a writer, teacher, child care provider, poetry instructor at San Quentin prision, vegetarian, shoe lover and a friend to me. She challenges my mind and teaches me new things all the time.
Micaela brings out the dreamer in me. She posts about love in all of its forms. She in a happy newlywed, a lover of dogs, a talented vintage treasure hunter, a lover of poetry and prose and an art enthusiast. I am so enjoying getting to know her.
Felicity describes herself as an artist, lip reader, pen pal, proud Bostonian, word lover and Chemo Enthusiast. She has hearing loss and communicates through the terrific pictures she takes, with her witty commentary and in sharing her unique artwork. She writes a great letter and I am lucky to be one of her pen pals!
Kirsten at Flippity Floo used to be my boss and I so miss working with her. She is a great observer, storyteller and talented writer. I loved going to the office and hearing about the adventures she and her hubby would have. Now she's a mother of two and she documents the funny things that happen to her over at her blog Flippity Floo.
Bianca was my first blog friend. Now I am one of her many pen pals. Her talent for mail art, her love of the colour red, bicycles and her cat along with her ability to showcase too many things that I want to buy are admirable!
